Take 10 unsuspecting people, put them in a nervous situation. And play on it.

This was a very comical shoot getting to act as silly as we could with a straight face, from asking them to say certain words for some of us on sound, make them feel like they've messed up by not doing what was required of them and getting to answer peculiar questions.

The night before a small selection of us went up to the room to set up with blacking out the windows, making a set up for the interviewee to sit in in order to make them feel a bit under pressure and testing the lighting.

The actual shoot day consisted of over a dozen crew members for Unit 1 (the interegating silly crew) and Unit 2 (The people to de-brief the poor victims), which unfortunately didn't make the short version of the film.

My Role: Lighting Technician

It was a lot of improvisation from the crew on the spot thinking of what we could to make the victims/interviewees feel a bit awkward and even harder for us not to laugh not knowing what's going to happen and when. Here are some pictures illustrating the set-up, the straight faces of the crew and the work gone in to the film.
